Miles For Millions – Join the Movement
Go the Distance for Children’s Palliative Care Worldwide!
Miles For Millions is a new global movement and dedicated fitness fundraising app, launched by ICPCN, which invites people across the world to track their steps as they walk, run or move in support of children with life-limiting conditions. The launch of the app saw hundreds of people from different countries walk collectively, marking the beginning of a global collective movement of collaborative fundraising for children’s palliative care.
Miles For Millions allows you to set personal challenges, share them on your socials and track progress in real time, all while raising money. The app links seamlessly with social media platforms, so you can spread your message and raise awareness, while integrated sponsorship functions let supporters around the world create their own movement as they fundraise and share their achievements.
Positive action doesn’t just help children needing palliative care, it helps you too. Using the app creates accountability and increases your chances of committing to your fitness goals. Regular exercise improves both your mental and physical health, while contributing to a collective cause gives you a sense of purpose as you exercise. This isn’t just individual sponsorship – this is a health initiative, a chance to be part of an exciting global movement to help improve children’s palliative care worldwide.

“One of the key challenges in children’s palliative care is securing sustainable funding. Compassionate care makes a real difference in the lives of children with life-limiting conditions and their families — easing pain, providing emotional support, and giving families hope. Miles for Millions is a chance for people everywhere to come together, take part, and go the distance to support this vital work”.
-Professor Julia Downing, Chief Executive, ICPCN.
Children’s palliative care is massively under-resourced. By participating in Miles for Millions, you will help fund ICPCN’s education and training programs, build knowledge and skills, and strengthen local services. Every step and mile contributes to ensuring more children and families receive the care, comfort and dignity they desperately need.
We are hugely grateful to our major sponsor, Phillip Snook and his team at ExPD, a global data company, for partnering with us to create the Miles for Millions app. It was softly launched in 2025 at ICPCN’s 4th International Conference in Manila, To visit live updates about the campaign, please visit: https://miles.icpcn.org/
How it works:
- Set yourself a challenge. It could be simply walking one mile or more with your family, school, or employees or running several miles each week/month.
- Or why not set yourself a specific challenge, such as tackling a mountain, a marathon or an iconic walk or cycle route somewhere in the world that you’ve dreamed of doing
- Share your goal across your network, increasing awareness and allowing friends, family and colleagues enabling them to donate to support your amazing efforts
- As you do the miles, track your progress and pace through the app and see how close you are to completing your fundraising target.
