Brief description of organisation

Very Special Kids is a not for profit organisation which supports over 760 Victorian families throughout their experience of caring for children with life- threatening illnesses from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement.

This support includes counselling, sibling support, trained volunteer support and bereavement support programs. In 1996 Very Special Kids established Australia's first and Victoria's only children's hospice providing respite and end of life care.
