The Dutch Centre of Expertise in Children's Palliative Care works on optimizing the quality of care for children in the palliative phase and their loved ones. We work together in a large national network of healthcare organisations, industry, professional and patient associations.
The Dutch Centre of Expertise in Children's Palliative Care initiates, facilitates and stimulates research, policy development, care innovations, training and education for (care) professionals involved in pediatric palliative care
The aims of our corporation are:

"Improving the quality of pediatric palliative care in all areas for all children in the Netherlands. Together for quality pediatric palliative care."
In order to achieve high-quality pediatric palliative care, it is our mission to make and generate professional knowledge available, to further professionalise care and to continue to bring pediatric palliative care to the attention of the political community.
We do this based on three core values:
