Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross was a psychiatrist and an author of 24 books in 34 languages. Her work included the seminal On Death and Dying and On Children and Death. She believed in the rights of children to receive quality end of life care, which includes a voice in his or her care. She also worked closely with children to ensure they were treated with compassion.
