This in-person event seeks to bring together like-minded individuals committed to advancing palliative nursing in the UK and beyond through a mix of activism and advocacy. The conference will consider future needs and opportunities and ways in which palliative nursing working individually and collective can play a significant part in addressing these.
We welcome all nurses working in palliative and end of life care regardless of seniority and length of service. The day will be of particular value to those who still believe in the unique contribution of nursing to a high-quality experience of death, dying and loss and want to reflect with others on the right way forward to maximise their impact and those of their colleagues.
The conference is a celebration of all the work undertaken to date by nurses who have engaged in the programmes of Palliative Discovery and the Lantern Model and who are interested to continue learning and acting together to advance the profession and their own practice.
