Two day conference in London for all in the paediatric palliative care sector
Day 1 is focusing on research looking at what is currently happening in the sector, a series of presentations on specific projects and a look at opportunities for the future. The day will end with an evening reception with supper for a chance to mingle with colleagues.
Day 2 includes Dr Andrew Dickman talking about his work on syringe drivers; long term ventilation – perspectives from the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital; palliative care emergencies; a look at international paediatric palliative care and what can be learned; mental health in children’s palliative care, and a session on liver conditions and symptom management. There will also be three workshops from which a choice of two can be made.
